Week 46: i don't even know... like burn piles and conference and whatnot?
Subject line pretty much sums up this week. I don't really know what happened. We did service for some friends on Tuesday and raked leaves and sticks into a massive burn pile. A lot of the leaves were wet, so it was tiring. It was a big burn pile.
Anyways. The rest of the week was us being pretty busy with lessons and member visits and whatnot. It's always enjoyable when we have a busy week as you feel much more fulfilled.
Conference weekend was great! We literally had 9 people watch it! And that number may be higher as some haven't gotten back to us!!! Like what!!! That's the most I've ever seen, so that was awesome. The messages and music all seemed to touch their hearts, and I hope each will act on the impressions they received.
My experience with conference was ok. Not the most spiritually transformative one I've had, but it was still good nonetheless. I enjoyed being extra diligent in-between sessions and making the most about inviting people to listen to the living prophet of God speak.
We had some really good member visits with some members that have been inactive for a long time now. Some of them seem like they want to start coming back to Church which is super exciting. One asked for a blessing, which we were happy to give.
Not much Taylor Swift in my head this week. Just a bunch of terrible random songs. I just caught myself singing "All I Do Is Win, Win, Win," so please send help. I can't ever catch myself doing that again.
Anyways, I love all of you so much. For those who had an exceptionally difficult week, know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. It's hard to be away from family sometimes, but I'm grateful that I can testify of Heavenly Father's Plan of Happiness each day. I'm grateful for Jesus Christ Who makes all of it possible. I'm grateful for and looking forward to this Holy Week as we commemorate all that the Savior has done for us.
