Week 12: I Have Changed My Mind...I Do Want to Talk to You
Another week gone by in the KLM! In all honesty Monday through Friday FLEW by, and then I hit a brick wall on Saturday. Saturday we worked up in Mount Vernon, and it just felt like we were driving all day, with nothing really significant other than one really good lesson. Such is life I guess. Anyways...I've been asked to play the piano for Zone Conference again, but this time I got to pick the songs. So that's a little more comforting. But it is insane that Zone conference is a week from tomorrow. Like what on earth. This summer went by so fast, and I'm like K bye I guess.
This week we had a lot of cool miracles with finding and teaching. We had several really good referrals that led to some awesome lessons and contacts. Interesting because about 96 out of 100 referrals we get, we text/call them and there's either no response or they just respond "CANCEL." And to comment on the cancel response...first of all I am NOT a bot! I refuse to use the default responses given by Area book (which, in my opinion, sound like a bot) and spend a whole 26.5 seconds crafting my own personalized introductory text message to the friend. I just can't fathom they would think I'm a bot. Like what on earth? I am sad now!
But in all seriousness, this week was really spiritual despite its rough patches. We had some awesome lessons and even enjoyed President and Sister Alder coming to Church in Henderson for Fast and Testimony Meeting yesterday. I always love to hear my mission President speak and the advice and counsel he gives. He truly is called of God, and I thank my Heavenly Father for his dedication to the work and his compassion towards his missionaries.
I guess the work will continue. Schools start up this week in Henderson, so we'll see how that will affect the work. Anyways until next time! Love y'all!

We had a massive storm Monday night (mostly just Evansville, but a little down in Henderson). The pictures are from the Elders up in Evansville and it was a pretty insane storm with flash flooding and trees falling down. Sorry but there will be no Goat simulations today...maybe next time
With love,
