Week 13: 3 Months I Guess
Well today marks my 3 month mark from being set apart as a missionary. That's pretty cool. Not going to lie, I'm not really sure what to say in these emails anymore that will make it entertaining and riveting. I feel like I'm becoming an uncultured swine, so it's difficult to come up with some good <quality> content.
Anyways, this week we had a lot of awesome lessons and contacts. There were parts of the week that felt like a bit of a drag, but overall we had some cool miracles with our friends. We found 7 new friends this week, which is essentially unheard of (even though 6 of them were like basically 1 family). We also grilled out with our neighbors this week which was pretty fun. We're not sure if it'll lead to any teaching, but sometimes it's important for people to know that missionaries aren't like these uncultured robot things and are real people.
But yeah, the work continues. The transfer is over in like 2 weeks which is insane and means that I'll be out of training. I'm very curious to see what happens after this transfer and where I'll be serving, but we'll just have to wait and see.
Pictures:
Perhaps the most interesting (and conversation provoking) picture I have this week...gas is under $3 in Henderson.
Video: I have to show y'all me feeding Reddy (our neighborhood Red-tailed Hawk). He's almost the oldest living one there is, so that's pretty much a claim to fame.
Thanks,
