Week 25: Ramblings
Well. It's been a week.
To start, I'll say I'm mentally drained. So apologies in advance if this email isn't riveting, as they all too often are. I also forgot my keyboard and am subsequently texting this email out, so...yeah...this'll be stream of consciousness style. Perhaps my favorite writing style learned in 10th grade English
This week was interesting...not a whole lot of lessons. It wasn't that fun. But, that's how missionary work is sometimes.
Monday night we had our mission wide Halloween devotional. "Faith over fear" was the theme. Not the most exciting thing... but I guess it prevented us from being kidnapped on the streets or something like that.
And then November came. Shout to Grace who's not a minor anymore. I still have fond memories of the day I turned 18. Lol. Scratch that. I don't think I remember a single thing from that day, without looking at pictures. Anyways, Happy Birthday Grace!
We helped at the Salvation Army store this week. It was interesting. Everything was super dusty, and it was kinda gross ngl. But we served the community, so that what it's about.
We raked some leaves this week. And then watched a wind storm shake massive amounts of leaves onto our work. So that didn't really improve my opinion of raking leaves.
4 people to Church!! We has 2 investigators come (including Alan, who hasn't been in a bit) and 2 less active members come. Super good conclusion to a super long and exhausting week. I loved getting to see my friends at Church!
We saw a cat. It looked like one of our friend's cats. We called them, and they said it wasn't their cat. Riveting story, I know.
There was probably some other funny stuff, I just can't think of it. Zone conference is tomorrow, and I look forward to being spiritually fed there.
Anyways, this was a lame email, but enjoy some <super> cool pictures I guess.
Love y'all so much!!
