Well friends, I'm moving. The Lord has called me away from Henderson. In fact, He has called me to the clear opposite side of the mission. Tomorrow I'll be moving out to Corbin, Kentucky and serving in the ward there in a trio. I'll be with Elder Callahan and we'll be training a brand new missionary. So I guess that means I'm now a Dad on the mission. So that's a change I guess. I'm honestly pretty excited. Corbin is like right in Daniel Boone National Forest, and from the pictures is looks pretty awesome. I'll miss Henderson so much, especially the people I've met and taught, but I look forward to having something fresh. To explain the subject line. Please refresh yourself with Taylor Swift's "London Boy." Corbin includes a town named London. No further explanation needed.
ANYways (hopefully you read that the way I would say it lol). This week has been super fun, and we've been dilligently serving in two areas. This week we've been all over Evansville and Henderson, practically running from appointment to appointment. Funny how that happens when you combine two areas. Tuesday, we spent the afternoon up in Evansville contacting some of Elder Wood's friends. Kind of fun to be in a pretty big city again. I also enjoyed getting to drive, since Elder Kalb forgot his wallet. Sadly (and this is terrible), I got my first ever "check your speed" from TiWi. It was "toon toe" (stupid in Marshallese). I drove 40 in a 40, and TiWi thought it was like 30 or something. Nothing like an imperfect system expecting perfection, am I right? I guess I'll just have to live with a tainted driving record........
Anyways, we also had district lunch in downtown Evansville on Friday. Super interesting. We ate at this super fancy restaraunt for whatever reason, and there was low key like CEOs of major companies there. Like we legit blended in with our proslyting clothes. It was weird. One guy was wearing probably a $300 fedora. So that was fun.
Other than that, Saturday was the day we got transfer news. Our mission president called us in the middle of a lesson (really a conversation) with an RLDS lady, so that was interesting. We asked our president for 20 or so minutes, so we could finish up our (actually super interesting) conversation. That 20 minutes turned into like 40 minutes, so that was even more interesting.
Overall, I'm filled with profound gratitude for my time spent in Henderson, Kentucky. Though at times it's felt like a roller coaster of emotions, my eyes have been opened, and I'm filled with love for the friends I've made here. Truly, no one can bring people together like Jesus Christ can. I'm grateful for the opportunity I've had to serve the Branch here, and for the time I've spent teaching these awesome people. I look forward to commmunicating with some of these friends the rest of my life. Enjoy some goodbye pictures!
Pictures:
We helped a family do there school project while teaching them (in other words, I helped the family do a school project, while my companions and their Dad talked about dungeons and dragons (lol))

The Sheets family (my favorite members in the world). They're going to be sealed as a family in the temple for time and all eternity soon!!!
District lunch tongue check.
The gang and Alan (he loves this gospel is much and is going to be baptized soon. He legit looks like a BYU professor of religion with his annotations in his Triple Combination)

He treated us to Hardee's on our super packed and busy Saturday (never been there before, can't say I'll ever go back lol)
Some exfoliating, charcoal infused, collagen enriched, mask relaxation
The gang and Sister Spiller (such an awesome member who's been returning to activity this past summer)
The gang and the Purdy family (they will probably not be baptized, as they're pretty set in their faith, but they're some of the greatest friends I've made here)
