Week 37: Quote Board

 How's it going fam!?!

This week was pretty good not gonna lie.

To be honest, the first like 4 days were a bit of a drag, but that's all good. We had a really awesome weekend with 6 friends at Church. Granted 2 of them are gray dots (not interested people), but still, it was pretty cool.

Anyways, on the agenda this past week...

Exchanges with Liberty Elders:
We had some guy come up to us while we were filling up gas and say he'd like to meet with the missionaries again. (he apparently met with some missionaries for a bit just north of Columbus, Indiana a few years back. So that was cool I guess. We spent the day contacting down in Russell Springs which we saw a lot of success in. Oh, and how could I forget, We spent an hour from 8:30 to 9:30 doing the dishes in a bathtub.  No further comments needed.

Interviews:
Interviews were on Wednesday. Spiritual experience as always. Love President Alder to death.

Jail:
We went to Jail on Saturday. To visit a member referral from the Whitley City area (just outside of our mission). Some pretty unique comments heard in the waiting room before the 15 minute visitation. The hour and a half waiting room, mind you. Such overheard comments like "I got drunk like a skunk last night,"  and "I thought I was gonna die" were at the top of my list. No filter whatsoever as she described the alcholich beverages she consumed on her Friday night. There was also a vending machine filled with free nasal spray. So I just had to treat myself. I failed to make the connection though that this was a vending machine in a prison. So while I thought I was going to get treated to some free alergy spray, I was dissapointed to find out that it was Narcan, primary use: drug overdose. So yeah. That's in our trash can now.

Anyways, Elder Lichlyter has officially designated one of our whiteboards to be a quote board. He literally filled out the entire board with "iconic" phrases that I've said the last few months. Pretty entertaining stuff.

But yeah, this weekend was really good. We taught Judy the Word of Wisdom, and she already has a desire to follow it, so that was really cool. We also had a lot of good member visits this past week, and enjoyed helping people come closer to Christ.

Looking forward to next week with Zone Conference on Friday. Love you all and have a fantastic week!!
