Week 38: zc part 6 and helping people come closer to Christ
Happy Monday party people!
Elder Creer is officially past the worst month of the year and is "ready for the 5 days of Valentines" - according to Mom.
Anyways, this week was kind of slow at first again, but it definitely picked up towards the end of the week. We had a member participating lesson this week for the first time in a bit with our friend on Baptism date. It was pretty cool and we taught her the Restoration. She already has great faith in Jesus Christ, and recognizes that the devil is going to try and stop her from progressing. She said pretty powerfully that she is not going to let him stop her, which was really awesome. The member (who lives up in London) treated (?) us to the original KFC in Corbin afterwords since he hasn't been before. It was better than last time (see Week 29) but still I would pick 10 other chicken places over it. Glad I gave it a second chance though. (to seal its fate?)
Let's see, let's see. What else.
Meghan Trainer is pregnant again. So that was some pop culture news I learned last week.
We had zone conference on Friday, which was a treat as usual. We focused a lot on diligence in our missionary efforts. They also introduced that our mission is now letting us go tracting (except they're labeling it as door knocking instead of tracting). We stopped doing that back when covid started, and now were going back to that. So that'll be fun. Overall, it was a great day getting to see missionaries I know again and hearing from our amazing mission leaders. I really am going to miss President and Sister Alder when they leave in July. But the next mission leaders are called of God, and I'm sure they'll be amazing too.
We tried out some door knocking the other day and the first door we go to, a guy comes out while we were walking up, and we got a pretty enthusiastic response about the Book of Mormon. So that was pretty cool seeing door knocking work without knocking on a single door. The rest of the doors were funny to see people's reactions. We'll leave it at that.
Anyways. This is the last week of the transfer. I'm curious to see what is in store, but trust the Lord has the best plan for me.

That cave we went to like 6 weeks ago? Yeah. We went back. It's flooded now. x2
