Week 56: Paris Mini Homes

Week 56 in the books. Busy week for sure. Rapid fire update...

 - Exchange in Paris
 - Bucc-ee's on Monday with some members and other missionaries.
 - Pretty fun Board game called Scythe last P-day
 - New Members Hawaian/80s themed mini-home.

Lots of fun stuff indeed. Exchages in Paris were fun. I got to see the Eiffel Tower (a smaller one from Las Vegas) and taught a couple of cool friends. All while enjoying Elder Cooper's homeade caramel.

Our new member, Cody is absolutely awesome! He's single and lives in a Mini-home, that's so fun looking! We show up for dinner, and we texted him that we weren't sure we were at the right place. He texted saying, "Do you see a mini home. lol" It was hilarious. We then had a photoshoot with it, while we waited for him to get there. He's getting ready to go through the Temple soon and he just received the Melkezidek Priesthood a few weeks ago. He's awesome.

Bucc-ee's on Monday. Fun to be back again. To some up the visit, we learned that the bathroom cleaners get paid $18 an hour ($20 an hour if overnight), and the general manager gets paid roughly $250,000. That's pretty much all that needs to be said, as everything there is ridiculously expensive. Except for the gas. Which is 50 cents cheaper than normal. I'm pretty sure they sell it for less than they buy it.

Anyways, other than all that fun stuff, we had an amazing week of finding and teaching. So many miracles this week, that truly testified this is the work of the Lord. They especially took place after our Spiritual Feast at Zone Conference that felt (in it's own small way) like the Day of Pentecost. It was President and Sister Alder's last Zone Conference before they complete their 3 year service at the end of the month. It was spiritually powerful to be able to gather together with 50+ missionaries and learn and teach together. I had the privelidge of playing the piano, and hearing those Elders and Sisters sing while playing, felt like an Angelic choir. President Alder left us with 5 steps to stay on the covenant path throughout the rest of our life which included finding an eternal companion. I choose to include that in this email as it was absoultely hilarious as he told us to never think of that again until we get home from our mission. lol.

But it was really bittersweet as we said goodbyes (even though we'll see them again in about 2 weeks for transfers). I will miss them for sure. They have both changed my life. There's really so much I could say, but this is already getting too long...

Just know that it was a good week in the KLM for Elder Creer

Oh and also, I got called Elder Hansen yesterday. A member here grew up in New Orleans, where my Mom is from. She apparently knew some of my Mom's family and went to school with them. She knows me by Hansen I guess, hahaha

Love y'all and talk to you next time (my next P-day won't be until Wednesday the 21st or Thursday the 22nd because they're changing the day transfers is on. We still don't really know what's happening🤷)
