Week 63: feeding chickens and whatnot
Hey
It's Elder Creer again. Hope you've enjoyed your week I guess.
But yeah, honestly, don't even really know what happened this week. I learned that my stories on facebook get a lot more traction if my face is in it. Something about it being facebook or whatever.
We also fed some chickens at a members house and naturally filmed them in their glory. See vid for a good time.
We went on exchanges this week with the DFTC Elders (the tech elders) which was fun. I went up to La Grange with them and was with Elder Dye for the first time since we were comps for our night in the hotel when we first got to Kentucky over a year ago. We had some good door knocking and enjoyed soccer night as well. Soccer night is a lot more of a workout than volleyball night. We'll leave it at that. I also enjoyed seeing some of the information the Elders have access to as DFTCs. Like they have access to way too much. There is no reason for them to see all of the lease agreements for the Kentucky Louisville Mission. But it was a vibe indeed.
We trained at the Crestwood District on Saturday, which consists of purely the Assistants to the President, the Social Media Leaders, and the DFTCs. So that was unique. Good to be in the presence of the most worthy and important missionaries in the force. Lol jk jk. They're all awesome, and I'm glad we were able to be there. The rest of the weekend was good. We found some cool potentials, including a really awesome member referral. Following our visit with her yesterday, she's already read 12 chapters of the Book of Mormon. So that's epic.
Tony and Jazzy also came to Church yesterday, and President Bednar was there and welcomed them to Church. Tony also is listening to the Book of Mormon, so our prayers are working that he will be open to learning in addition to Jazzy!
But other than that, this week was a week. Today is district P-day, and transfers are on Friday, so we will see what happens. Stay tuned for next week!
Ciao!
