Week 64: run it back

y'all. the era has not ended. Elder Smith and I will be together another 6 weeks. So that'll be a blast... But... on to the weekly recap!

Absolutely destroyed it with MPLs this week (member participating lessons). We got 7 which is literally the most I've ever had on my mission, so that was crazy. We've had a lot of really awesome lessons with promising friends, and now we're just trying to get them to come to Church!

Jazzy, Janet, and Tony continue to progress well. All three of them were at Church yesterday which was super cool. We went to youth activities with Jazzy on Wednesday which was with 3 wards, and Elder Bednar's grandkids were there, and we talked with them for a second. That was kind of fun and crazy.

We got a brand new car lol. After our brand new blue chevy equinox was rear ended in the middle of the night in the parking lot last transfer with 400 miles on it, we finally brought it into the shop to get fixed. Our vehicle coordinator showed up and said that your never getting it back and handed us the keys to our brand new white Chevy equinox with 60 miles on it. So that's been fun.

Transfers happened. Nothing changed here, so it was another day spent proslyting. We live next to a companionship of Sisters and a companionship of Hermanas, and we welcomed the new ones with chalk to the area, but other than that, it was an all day grind.

We joined someone's family. Basically we knock into a home and a lady comes out and says "well it's been a bit since y'all have showed up!" She then proceeded to tell us that we didn't have the answer to one of her questions (what happened to Joseph, Jesus's earthly father figure?). Not sure why that question mattered, but she claimed it did, so we attempted to answer it (and failed lol). She and her husband then let us into their home where we had a conversation about their beliefs (Catholic) and our beliefs. It was pretty cool and interesting. They finished the conversation by asking us to put a thumb print on their wall so they could remember us. Lol see pics. It was a vibe.

But other than that, this week was a vibe. We just enjoyed the ride. But I guess I'll talk to y'all next week. ttfn!
