Week 67: Can You Beat the Heat?

y'all. I don't know what to write in these anymore. The weeks are flying by, and I don't know what happened this past week.

anyways. s/o to Joseph who got home from Bolivia on Thursday!! Literally cannot believe it's been 2 years since I went to his setting apart in Vegas 🤯

This week was hot!!!! It was honestly not as bad as I thought it would be, but we definitely felt the heat as we went out and did the work. But holy cow, like no one wanted to talk. Everyone was so nice in offering us water and telling us things like "y'all need to get out of this heat," but little did they know that they were the only ones preventing us from getting out of said heat. Just talk to the missionaries lol ;)

LOL, it wasn't that bad. but I just internally laughed a bit.

This week I had a call with Salt Lake City to get a website approved on my phone. It was a trip. But it was fun. I did it with our tech specialist on exchanges, and he started asking about getting Android Auto on our phones (little did I know, but apparently they're trying to test that in our mission) 👀, to which one of the salt lake people were unimpressed and unapproving and the other seemed to be trying to hold back laughter in approval. a trip indeed.

Soccer night in La Grange. 'twas a flop. But that's all good. We had a friend who said he was going to come, and then didn't show.

But other than that, this week consisted of a lot of planning some trainings for district councils, training at said councils, and planning for zone conference this coming Wednesday. All that plus the usual proselyting. it was a good week.

'till next!

I'm allergic to cats. Kentucky has a lot of cats.
Unrelated (and no pic) but we almost hit a deer driving to this place

Train vibes

LOL. Elder Smith bought a new bike tube. We didn't have a bike pump that fit his nozzle or whatevs, so we went to get some free Lowe's air. It absolutely blew up and sounded like a gunshot as we filled it with too much air. We walked next door to walmart and bought the same bike tube (again) not an hour after purchasing the first one.
