Week 68: Miracles in the Work (w/ a capital W)

Well friends. It's been another week. And it was a week indeed.

Zone Conference!!
Agh! so glad we had a real one this transfer as opposed to last transfer's mini zone conference. It was good to gather again in the name of Christ. We talked a lot about the Book of Mormon, and the power that it can have on our friends. It's been really cool to see as we've put it into use over the last few days, and see the changes that have been made in our friends over such a short period of time!

Anyways, the rest of this week was a vibe.

We had dinner at one of our friends' parent's home, and it was so amazing! A, the food was delicious, and B, we had some great fellowshipping with some members there and had a bit of a lesson with her.

My pickleball paddles came in from China this week. That was such a joy. Literally took 3 weeks, but I'm glad that they're here.

We went contacting at an Arts and Crafts festival thing on Saturday. Pretty much there were over 100 booths set up for people to display their merch. One of the booths had Brother Glatz' knives set up for purchase (a member from Corbin who owns a knife business). So that was kind of cool. We talked with the display person for a bit about that, but didn't purchase any since, you know, MSF and whatnot.

But other than that, we saw some really awesome progression with our friends this week. We taught Tony, Janet, and Jazzy on Friday, and had a really awesome discussion with them. Tony had watched most of the Prophet of the Restoration movie, and it was really awesome to see his questions (one of which was why does everyone hate us, lol). Tony and Janet came to Church yesterday, WITHOUT Jazzy! That sounds kind of sad that Jazzy wasn't there, but it was quite the opposite. Jazzy was out of town with her biological dad, and we didn't think that Tony and Janet would come to Church without Jazzy, since we think they've mostly been meeting with us for her. But they came!!! It was so awesome! Tony said afterwords to us that he's really grateful for us and that he has learned more over the last month, than in his entire life. Which was seriously the best to hear, after a rough week of pretty much all day finding (door knocking) every day.

Also we had a member feed us last night, last minute, which was so kind and nice. It was a good end to an interesting week in the KLM. But then again, every week is interesting. So... until next week!
