Week 75: scavenger hunt
Sheesh. It's been a week.
Ok, so like Monday through Thursday was mid at best. Our member meal with Bishop on Tuesday night carried fr.
The Weekend was grand though.
Friday:
Exchanges in Frankfort. I went there again with a first transfer trainee, Elder Granados. He's 26, and has an awesome testimony. Holy cow they have so many yellow dots (interested people), it was amazing. We literally set up like 5 lessons, taught a couple lessons on the spot, and called like 20 people with most answering. It was a nice change of pace from door knocking (Tuesday to Thursday rip). We also taught English Class which was actually pretty cool (they're Spanish/English Elders). Teaching English is a lot different from learning Spanish. It was eye opening.
Saturday:
Ok this day popped off. It was actually epic. We did a Zone Scavenger hunt. I'll attach a screenshot of our end of day stuff, but it was epic. There's only one more week of our transfer long spooky challenge, and this week did not disappoint! Our district absolutely killed it! It was actually so fun to go around Shelbyville doing real missionary work by making some quirky things happen. Def did not think I would be cutting down a banana tree at the beginning of the day, but cut it we did!
Sunday:
Bold talks in Sacrament meeting about the Covenant path with Tony, Janet, and Jazzy in attendance. Things got heated in Elders Quorum over Elder Rasband's conference talk. Tears were shed during our lesson with Angela, as she and a member from the Ward bonded over things they've both gone through.
Also learned about family history work this week for our member message on Monday. She pretty much decided to share a message with us, instead of us to them. It was actually kind of cool and we started doing some family history this week.
Anyways, epic week indeed. Pics included.

Cool tree
Piano that some sus guy was trying to give us. He said he would come back after he got his phone. He didn't come back. We go upstairs and hear him talking to his buddy about how some "mormons" are here looking for teddy and that he doesn't know what to do with them. Low key sounded like he was on the run from the FBI
