Week 79: Tri-Citian 18 Months
Hey!
Another week in the books y'all. This week was a good week of consecration and sacrifice. It was good though.
We enjoyed a great week of literally so much stuff happening. #BullettPoint time
- FSY Interview. 2nd real job interview. The rest have been "what's your availability?" This one was tell me about a time where you chastized someone lol. Not really, but kind of.
- Testified a lot.
- Phone got rolled over by a car. Rip.
- Broke False limitations by cutting a hole in a piece of paper large enough to drive an Equinox through. #StillChristian.
- Hit 18 months!!! 6 months to home.
- Trained in the Deep South on Lighthouses and being the Lower Lights for others. See "The LIght of the Y" by the one and only President Kevin W. Worthen
- As part of that District Council, we drank from the historic Sulphur Well water. It was disgusting. Rank of Sulphur. And yes, I'm British now.
- Blitzed the Campbellsville Elders. Enjoyed knocking some random doors and found a lot of cool people and also taught a lot of cool lessons.
- Stake Council. Interesting meeting. Cool Technology used.
- ZLC. Over zoom. Sheesh that feels like forever ago.
- Became a Radcliffian for a day by exchanging with the Elders up in Radcliff. Hung out in a trailer park for like an hour and found a bunch of families.
But yeah, other than that, this week was pretty good. Some good laughs, and some good times. I'm amazed that I only have 6 months left of my full-time mission. See my Facebook post for more info on that.
Anyways, Thanksgiving should be fun. It was this time last year I moved to Corbin. I still remember Thanksgiving there in that blessed land. Looking forward to another day of thanks this week.
But talk to y'all next week! Peace!
