Week 83: the bold menace
This week was probably the boldest I've ever been in my life. We got stupid bold at some points, and super humbled at others. Elder Thomas kept saying we were absolute menaces. It was a pretty fun week.
Overall, I can't really remember much in particular from this week. There was just a lot of bold testifying going on, which was super fun. Some notable events were us volunteering at a homeless shelter for an hour. We were supposed to greet and hand out food, but we ended up standing around for like 55 minutes and then handing out food for like 5 minutes. Then we had to leave for another appointment. So that was an interesting use of time. But I think we helped make their day a little better, so it was worth it.
MLC was this week which was super fun! I loved getting to see my missionary friends again <3. We talked about how 1/3 of the KLM is in their first 3 transfers right now, and so a large part of our discussion was about how we can effectively help the younger missionaries become the best they can be. Elder Thomas also convinced our vehicle coordinator to trade in our equinox for a Rogue, so we're super excited to get a Rogue on Wednesday. Also! New phone! I got a Church-owned phone at MLC, and I now don't have to look through a shattered screen. It's slay, fr fr
Other fun things include ZLC with the STLs and District Leaders of the Zone. Brandenburg had two baptisms the same day, and our whole district made it. Granted we pulled up 3 minutes early, but 5 minutes after the baptism had already happened, but it was all good. Lol.
New friend at Church this week as well, which was awesome! Of course we had 5 planning to come, and only 1 actually came, but that's life sometimes. Paul really enjoyed Church, even if it felt like we did a deep dive on the Book of Revelation in Sunday School. So that's good. One of our new converts was such a good friend to Paul in helping him feel welcome, as well.
But yeah, I can't believe Christmas is in a week! That's insane to think that it's been another year. Our Pday was moved to Tuesday next week, so that should be interesting.
Looking forward to the last week of proselyting before the celebration of the Savior's birth
