Week 94: Livin' in Hoosierville

 Hey hey hey party people!

What a week here in the KLM! Lots of happenings fr. We had transfers last week which was always a fun time. I ended up getting transferred up to New Albany, Indiana on Friday and it's just absolutely crazy that this will probably be the last area of my mission. Sheesh.

But this area leaves very few crumbs. Tons and tons of work to do which is just always a blast. We had a baptism on Saturday, so that was a good way to start the area I guess, lol. He's super cool and is the fiance of a member. #flirttoconvert if you know what I mean.

But, back to Etown. I had perhaps the most interesting member meal experience of my life on Wednesday. They were on the Carnivore diet and so they had a medium sized domino's pizza for us, and then they were cooking T-bone steaks for themselves. The husband thought it was hilarious that she just bought us a single pizza and so he offered to cook us up some steak as well lol. They only referred to each other as "baby," and for their diet, they only eat meat, salt, and water. So very interesting night indeed.

My mom's birthday was on Wednesday which was also exciting. Happy 44th to Mom!

Other than that, my last few days in Etown were wonderful. I said by to friends, put a new friend on date for baptism, and left feeling accomplished and that the work of the Lord had been accomplished over the last 3 transfers of my service there.

Overall, I'm excited to be here in New Albany and a super excited for the work that's about to happen here.

The Ward here is super awesome and there's so many super cool members! There are actually some Creers in the Ward which was the definition of a small world moment. They are related through my 4th great grandfather's second wife (after his first wife passed away). So I think I met the first Creer in my life that I did not already know about lol.

Anyways! Here's some pics for the week!

Goodbye to friends!

Fun Times!

Peace!
