Week 97: I Believe in Christ ~ An Easter Devotional

 Hey!

Happy P-day, y'all!! We're approaching week 100, and it's getting surreal. Shoutout to Sister Matthews and Sister Patterson for completing their missions this past week!! Super exciting stuff!

Anyways, this week was good. We enjoyed 2 exchanges; one with the APs, and one with the Salem Elders.

On Tuesday, I ran it back up with Elder Nelson here in New Albany. This was a really impactful exchange for me, and perhaps one of the most powerful ones of my mission. I love Elder Nelson, and am grateful for his dedicated discipleship <3

Thursday to Friday, I ran it back again with Elder Ford, also here in New Albany. Him and I enjoyed a good day of finding and randomly knocking into a member while door-knocking. #todayfilter

Friday we enjoyed two district councils, and we trained at my son's Hoosier District. He had a great training on remembering.  #fullcirclemoment

Saturday was interesting. That's about the best way to describe it. We essentially started off bright and early at 8am helping a member move. That job took until 12:30, moving stuff back and forth on a tiny trailer to a storage unit, to goodwill, etc. We then got roped into another service project that took us until 4:30. For this one, we loaded up mission cars with a bunch of storage unit stuff and hauled it to another storage unit a mile down the road.  #nevergettingastorageunit

After a 5-6pm Personal Study, we had a fire lesson at the Church with Charlie. Then, we went back home, had dinner, planned for #ZoCo16 and called it a day.

Interesting day indeed.

Sunday was awesome. I love Palm Sunday. We had a wonderful Sacrament meeting and enjoyed seeing Charlie there. In the evening, though, the Stake had an Easter devotional, and it was so powerful. They had a bunch of special musical numbers, and they even had a piece from the Lamb of God in there, which is such a powerful concert for me. It was just a good day, and it was great to be apart of the Stake's first annual Easter Devotional.

So yeah. Just chilling here in New Albany. Excited for this coming week of my second to last zone conference, and two exchanges. Should be some good stuff.

Love y'all so much!!!
