Week 104: Departing Testimony
Wow.
First of all! Happy Mother's Day! So grateful for my Mom, and for all the other mothers of the world. It was a good day yesterday to get to call my Mom and as some say, "chop it up."
Other than yesterday, this week was a bit of a grinder again, but that's ok.
We had my last Zone Conference on Wednesday which was really wholesome and caused a lot of reflection for me. We trained and talked a lot about Chapter 8 of Preach My Gospel.
I was also able to bear my departing testimony which was such a surreal experience. I bore testimony of how Jesus Christ has sustained me over the last 2 years, through the highs and lows. Of how the Book of Mormon and the words of living prophets are the key to spiritual survival. I was the only one in the group going home, so it was kind of weird to be the only one there, but it was a good time.
The rest of the week has been a LOT of finding, and it's been a little tough, but we've been making the most of it. We've found a couple of potentials, but they've low-key been pretty flaky. We did have a couple of super cool member visits this week which was fun.
Starting to get real though! Only one more of these things until I'm home. I'm excited. But I'm also sad to be leaving something I've loved so much. I look forward to these next two weeks of working hard to the end. I'll be coming home on May 25th, and then speaking in Church the following day on May 26th. More details on that to come later!
Love Y'all!

Northern Lights went Crazy (there was too much light pollution from Louisville to see them super well, so our pics are pretty trash, but some of the Elders in our Zone got some crazy pics!)
